In all honesty, we have the greatest fans in football. How 15K could make the effort to get to Ruston to watch this crap is truly amazing.

I would like to try Ferguson at QB. Why not?
Saw TMac on the field in the 3rd quarter.
I will say even he looked disgusted with our product.
Frowns to go around.
Is there a rule that we have to park the ambulance in such a prominent area?
My girlfriend and I rode 6 hours in the rain on a motorcycle to see us almost lose to UTEP. I feel sorry for her because her this was the first college game shes ever seen. Luckily, it's her first college game and she had no idea how bad UTEP really is!
That said, we still had a fun time and she really enjoyed our beautiful campus. Hope we get to make it to more and there is a better product on the field next time.
Just back from the game. Hmmm...
I just browsed this game thread and noticed a lot of negative posts. In fact, couldn't find a single positive one. Where's the little pissy snowflakes Rama Jama and Sparky complaining that "y'alls reputations precede you"? Oh well...
I heard booing at Aillet today. It got fairly loud when Smith took back to back sacks and killed a drive. I don't know if fans were booing Smith, Holtz, or the team in general, but booing they were. For the record, I did not join in the booing. It is pointless. It is amazing to speak with others at the games. I'd say 90% agree with my opinions, and not with the pissants D65, Rama Jama, and the rest of the little girly men. Then listening to the Call-in show, there were few callers, but some strong opinions. I found the last caller particularly intriguing, Holtz is getting players hurt with the vanilla offense. There is some truth to that. DLs just teeing off and attacking without having to worry about being trapped. Of course, Smith's bootleg for the GW TD worked precisely because Holtz has never shown that before. The whole UTEP defense set their sights on Kam and sold out...oh well, so sorry.
I also LOL when someone asked about Jack Abraham....talk about being defensive! Oh, oh, USM is only averaging 13 pts a game, blah, blah, blah. Gee, Ben, don't get your panties in a wad. It was only a question.
Now, Holtz mentioned a bunch of injuries, particularly to the OL. I know that doesn't help a struggling offense. It also doesn't help to have a crappy QB. Too bad Ferguson isn't a junior, and Smith a senior.
Everyone sees it.
J’Mar stares down his receivers. Several times the middle of the field was wide open with the RB 10 yards out, but J’Mar never looks. You cannot blame the Oline when he has 5 seconds or more to make a decision.
J’Mar refuses to run the ball unless he has too. The FIRST series he had the first down given to him if he just took off and ran. Instead he throws the ball out of bounds.
J’Mar cannot throw his receivers open. He doesn’t throw routes. He throws to the receivers. Veal made a hell of grab to make the first TD, but J’Mar’s pass was off target. He waits so long to throw that most of the time the receivers are about to be pummeled by the defense. They have no room. This results in injuries.
Either Elliot and Allen are the worst QBs to ever wear a Tech uniform, or Holtz is a stubborn block head. There is no middle ground. In either case, there should be at least 2 QBs signed in this years class.
I'm fed up with J'Mar and Skippy!
