You guys better get with the PC vernacular. Midget is a no-no. It's vertically challenged individual.
Can Tech ever be a giant? Is Boise State the tallest midget or a giant now?
Nope -
Double the size of us....
Vanderbilt is "guessed" to be in the $60 million range (since they are private we really don't know)
Mizzou is in the mid to low to mid 80's
We need to worry about spending what our peers raise and spend in the MWC, AAC, MAC, CUSA and Sunbelt raise and spend
''Don't be a bad dagh..."
The numbers according to USA today for 2016-2017 have Mizzou with 97 million in revenue and 102 million in expenses. We're talking semantics. We're closer to Boise than they are to Mizzou. Perhaps in basketball, there's a true middle, but that's basically gone in football. You're P5 or you're not. That doesn't change that we need to improve our budget, but there's no quick budget fix for us.
We need someone with a LONG term goal of P5. Is it a pie in the sky dream? Sure, but maybe it won't be in 50 years.
