I think CUSA should send UNT to the Bahamas Bowl to play Northern Illinois, and send LA Tech to the First Responders Bowl in Dallas to play BYU.

Gasparilla is the name - The game was renamed the Gasparilla Bowl in 2017 as a nod to the legend of José Gaspar, a mythical pirate who supposedly operated in the Tampa Bay area and who is the inspiration for Tampa's Gasparilla Pirate Festival.

It could happen and I am sure the entire conference would rejoice. USM is playing for a possible bowl birth and UTEP is playing to send their seniors off on a high note.

Sarsaparilla is the root beer like drink. Old "oater" movies had non-drinkers bellying up to the bar asking for a "sasparilly".
