- Want to change history? Win tonight, and you still have a chance to be the first Louisiana Tech football team to finish a regular season with 10 wins since our 1974 team finished 10-0. That's a 44-year drought. (The 1974 Tech team went to the Div II Playoffs, and eventually lost to Central Michigan in the Pioneer Bowl, finishing 11-1 overall.)

No doubt, this is Tech's toughest remaining game in 2018. Win tonight, and the Bulldogs likely finish 10-2 in the regular season. Since that 1974 season, LA Tech has finished with 9 regular season wins only 4 times: in 1982, 1984, 1997 & 2012.

That is pathetic.

THIS !! This is the perfect and accurate answer as to why Tech fans pull against LSU. I have zero problem with the school, alumni, or athletic teams.

My problem is Tech alumnus who support LSU and say that they would support their School if we had a good football team. How do they expect Tech to improve when they contribute all their money to LSU and zero to Tech??? This is so NLU. If they love the Tiggers so much, why didn’t they go there for their education?

The tiggers believe they are Alabama's biggest rival. Their record against them is 25 wins against 52 losses and 5 ties - including losing the last 7 in a row.

I guess we are better rivals, because we actually have a WINNING record against Alabama and "control" the series, dating back to 1966, with a 60% win ratio. Don't look too closely at the 1993 "victory".

As long as we don’t have the guy working that corner near our section at LSU. He couldnt see anything from a step out of bounds or that “catch.” All overturned except for the catch that was deemed inconclusive to turnover on review.
