    My right-libertarian takes.
    1. If felons are prohibited from serving in office, there will be no more people in Louisiana's government. Vote yes.
    2. I can't think of any good reason why it's taken this long to enforce a unanimous jury. Vote yes.
    3. Either a yes or no vote here will immediately be abused by Louisiana entities. Abstain.
    4. "Prevent state police." Vote yes! Oh, wait, there's more to it?
    5. "Expand tax exemptions." Vote yes! Oh, wait, there's more to it?
    6. Tax increases? No.
Bonus: fantasy betting. Vote yes. The government has no business telling me how to spend my money.

    #2. YES!
    #3. No
    #4. Yes
    #5. Yes
    #6. Yes (it isn't a tax increase)

The most important one is #2. Most people in Louisiana don't realize that in Louisiana (and Oregon), a person can get a life sentence based on a 10-2 vote of the jury.

... and the historical basis for this in both states is shameful. Oregon prejudice against Jews. I am sure we can all guess where the prejudice was in our state...
