FAU shuts classes before Tech game Friday

Try a new QB. That's what it's going to take to renew the interest of those of us that just can't take watching J'Mar struggle to perform at this level anymore.

As 52 said, there's nothing more we can do this year. We have to begin planning now for a successful 2019 strategy, and that has to include a change at the top. Also, we have to hope that the bleeding this year is not fatal. We've all heard many stories this year about people coming back for their first Tech game in 20 years and it turns out to be their last.

I want to to see us do something. It doesn't feel like our athletic department is even trying this year. There is no creativity in trying to market to the region and students. TMac sees it as a successful season by having one or two high attendance games (ie Southern, Miss State, ULL...) and the rest he doesn't care. It's a trend I've seen since he got here. We are trending downwards with football and basketball attendance.

Of course. If they weren’t coming before on Saturdays, giving them extra time on Friday wasn’t gonna help. They hit the beach or something before the water gets too cold.

Walks past us every week at The Joe along with many other long time supporters and has never stopped. It isn’t our job to seek him out to get to know him. That is what he is paid to do. I may have shook hands with him once.

This didn't see, to work for FAU. It didn't look like many people showed up at the game. Anyone know actual total attendance or how many students attended?
