Elijah isn't exactly lighting it up at Trinity Valley. Looks like he's the backup.

Apparently, there is a new "red shirt rule," which allows a player to not lose his red shirt if he does not play more than 4 games at any point in the season. Could it be that Holtz has a plan regarding Elliott? My assumption is that there is not a limit on number of quarters played in the 4 games.
Walker left because he was surpassed by Allen is what I heard.
Apparently the guy that runs another page thinks we're spoiled. Haha haha, he says cusa is the worst fbs conference. He just doesn't know just how bad cusa is. Glad im not giving him money.
Spoiled? A few months ago I posted on that topic. I "in thinking out loud" wondered if we UNREASONABLE ONES were indeed spoiled by recent "success." So, I explored that possibility. Then, and now, arrived at this:
First, many of us were, and still are, THRILLED by the run of the bowls. But, I attribute that to pent-up bowlitis. A disease brought on by an unfair period of no bowls. The 1999 team beat SEC Champion Alabama, was ranked in the Top 25, result, no bowl. The 2012 team...well, we all still remember that mess! And there have been many other examples of a Tech team with 7 wins, 8 wins, sitting at home come bowl season. So! as Tech fans we had been "bowl deprived," and dammit! we wanted to go bowling!
But, for the Sunshine Pumpers, and apparently for that fellow on the other site, which I don't even know what that is, we should now be FOREVER SATISFIED! The no-bowl mess has been rectified. Problems over. We have arrived, we are bowling every year now. Well, yeah, I love it! I don't know how many times I, and some others, have to post: WE ARE HAPPY WITH THE RUN OF BOWLS. I GIVE CREDIT TO HOLTZ FOR HIS ABILITY TO PREPARE THE DAWGS TO WIN THE BOWLS. But, okay....now that we have established this base...which I once compared to the Mt. Everest base camp at 18,000 ft., can't we PLEASE make a run at the summit!? That's 26,000 ft. on Everest, and it's tough to get there, true. Many try, and fail. Also true. But, I don't want to be satisfied to be sitting at the base camp and look up and see UCF planting their flag on the summit.
So, call me "spoiled" if that somehow helps you cope with Holtz's inability to get us past the base camp. But, if he can't do it. Then, get me someone who can get us up there.
^^^^great analogy
If d80 could have just said “past” instead of “passed”. Just jerking your chain. Good comparison.
UCF was turned around in two years, they play in a harder conference.
Skip inherited a better program than what UCF was and still can't muster one conference championship.
Call It what you want but I'd rather have Kirk Cousins attitude and the will to win in a qb even if he doesn't have the physical attributes.
