^ I think your point is valid.
I don’t think I could overlook the situation, job or not.
Is this season possibly J'mars last year of eligibility? Did the baseball games he played in his freshman year use up a year of "athletic scholarship"? Then he would only have three years of athletic scholarship left or do you receive a seperate 4 years for another sport? I know he is listed as a RS Junior but this has to do with eligibility.

Westin ain’t coming in.
I didn't go back to the top of the blog, but I logged into the middle of a thread on a College Football Forum and some guy, of some school, posted:
Our QB was 8 of 24 for 92 yds and no TDs. That's the second straight crappy performance by this guy. Surely our back-up is better. If we don't change QBs this week, I'm done this season. (paraphrased a little)
So...some fan is upset their QB has had TWO crappy games!? Two? Whoa! that guy would come unglued if he had to endure 22 such games! No wait, it's 23 starts now. Smith is 13-10.
Maybe if he turned it over 4 times?
I still go back to a Facebook comment made by the male family member of QB1 after the UAB debacle. He said (paraphrasing) that "we would have another QB next year if not sooner". Open for interpretation, but maybe QB1 just doesn't like football and wants to pursue a baseball career, I don't know. But in my mind, this is something that is in play behind the scenes.
The same folks who "developed" J'Mar will develop his back up.
