Oh if you want to count losses to teams with losing records, yeah Skip has a few of those.
If Skip was so great at ECU and USF, let's see if they will take him back. Here is a link to the USF board. https://www.thebullspen.com/
Let me know how that goes.
Huh? Here is your post from earlier.
We can hold our own against pretty good P5 teams (as has Skip), with the occasional win (like Skip), but we've only beat 1 ranked P5 team (Alabama in 1999).
As you can plainly see you are the one who made the statement that Skip can hold his own against pretty good P5 teams. Then you start listing close games against teams with losing records, holding them up as pretty good teams. So how did I change the subject?
When debating a point with someone, you are entitled to your own opinion, but not your own facts.
Who did this BVDV or our current deal maker? This weekend would be the "second part"? Will our beat writer be able to figure out this series and ask our AD why we got such a crappy deal?
In 2015, Tech received $700,000 for a trip to Kansas State and $500,000 to play at Mississippi State. The lower amount to play at Mississippi State stems from an agreement that amounted to a three-game series with a game guarantee and a home-and-home series with no money exchanged. The first part of the home-and-home series comes in 2017 when Tech hosts Mississippi State on Sept. 9.
Does it matter? Tech can’t beat a ‘good’ P5 team this century no matter who the coach is. He’s been able to hang with the mediocre-decent ones. He has beaten one. The one he beat has a losing record because they lost to us. Starting with the 2014 season, the only ones with losing records he has lost to are Texas Tech and Kansas State (lost to Arkansas in a bowl.) The rest are;
2014: Auburn (8-5), Oklahoma (8-5)
2015: MissState (9-4)
2016: Arkansas (7-6)
2017: SouthCar (9-4), MissState (9-4)
2018: LSU (7-1)
