USC had their game vs. Marshall cancelled because of the hurricane, and Akron's game vs. Nebraska was cancelled due to a bad lightning storm. One would think USC would reschedule MU, Akron would make it up with Neb, but no, it'll be USC hosting Akron. Kudos to those ADs for getting off their azz and doing something. Oh, yeah, I'm sure TMAC would be innovative like that too.
Wouldn't it be great if Akron wins?

    WKU at MTSU

WKU is 1-7, but 4 of their losses have been by a FG. Kind of ridiculous to say they are better than their record, because they can't be much worse than it. But...they are better than their record.

I disagree. If they were in a P5 they would have better recruits and would still be winning

Every team would be better and win more if they had better recruits. Who knows Tech might be in the running for a conference title if we only had a D1 QB. But this UCF team would lose 5+ games in every P5 conference IMO. Now I agree if they had different players things would turn out differently, now way to predict how many wins or losses they would have with these imaginary players. I think you are absolutely correct in your theory that better players equal more wins and that P5 teams generally have better players.

5? I disagree. They aren’t as good as last season, defense is meh. But they are good enough to have a winning record in some P5. They beat Pitt, Pitt isnt anything great but they beat Virginia tonight. They played Notre Dame close- UCF blew Pitt out.

UCF reminds me of our 2011 and 2012 team except they are much better coached. They are not a top 10 team IMO.

Wow! they ejected Devon White for that!? Those refs, that replay moron, should be immediately terminated. It shouldn't even have been roughing the passer. It should have been, "you are supposed to be big bad football players, act like it. Play on." This has gotten beyond ridiculous.

Maybe this is why Skip Holtz no longer runs the "hurry-up" offense? It certainly seems to take a toll on the players.

Temple has already run 77 plays for 562 yds of offense, and UCF has run 62 plays for 506. Remember, they just started the 4th quarter.
It isn't often that you see a football game with 1,300 yds of offense, but Temple and UCF did it. The final numbers showed Temple had 670 yds of offense, and UCF had 630. Temple ran 98 offensive plays in this game.

Nebraska-#10 Ohio State going on right now, 7:00 minutes left in the third quarter, Nebraska 21-Ohio State 16. Nebraska playing aggressive defense, no prevent, they are hunting the ball and QB every play, playing to win.

It was awful. A&M should have won that game going away.

Marshall FG ties it up 3-3 in Hattiesburg on what was but should not have been the last play of the 1st quarter.

Stadium is showing the actual game and play clocks, and both operators are asleep at the switch. Game clock kept running to zero when Marshall's FG attempt started with 8 seconds left. And the play clock is typically about 3-5 seconds late to start running at 40.
