USM ties it up after an interception and tacks on a scoop 'n' score to make it 17-10 with 33 seconds left in the half. And 17-10 USM is the halftime score.

Heading into Week 10 UTEP was the only 0-8 FBS team. Looks like they aim to be 1-8.

The USM-Marshall game is one of the ugliest football games I've ever seen. The defenses have scored more TD's than the offenses. Literally. USM leads early in the 3rd Qtr, 17-10.
Watch this for a few minutes and it will make you feel REAL GOOD about LA Tech.

Actually having a professional sideline reporter (Julie Stewart-Binks) for this webcast is making it halfway watchable despite the press box talent being largely clueless.
Marshall ties it up 4 plays after USM fails on a 4th down try. 17-17 8:36 3rd.
Marshall scores a TD to tie it up 17-17, with 8:36 left in the 3rd Qtr.
- Southern Miss has 45 yds passing, and 88 yds rushing.
- Marshall has 106 yds passing, and 15 yds rushing.
Folks, that's some ugly stats for this game to already be late in the 3rd Qtr. For the record, USM is playing Whatley instead of Jack Abraham. Whatley just can't throw at all. I hope they play Whatley against us.
Kubik has paid his dues and is a legit OC on the rise.
What we have is an OC who is buddies with the HC and needed a job.
Another huge INT by USM. They run it back to Marshall's 10-yd line.
The ugly offenses continue for BOTH teams.
.....and on 1st down, USM QB Whatley takes a sack for a 7-yd loss.
Of course, USM's offense stalls (I know, you're shocked!) and USM kicks a FG to go up 20-17 with 2:58 left in the 3rd Qtr.
