I saw on twitter coach said its a sprain and he’s icing it. Hope it isnt too serious.
I also read we broke Wichita’s 22 straight home opener win streak.

71-58. That's a solid whoopin. Congrats Dawgs!
That was one BEAUTIFUL ugly win! Neither team could hit a FT to save their life. Turnovers all over the place. And, it's a brand new, very young Wichita State team that will likely not finish .500 this year. Still... if you know anything about college basketball, Wichita State is a traditional power with a storied history. So, this win will look good in the record books 10 years from now.
And, the most important thing is, I'd rather win ugly than lose ugly.
Good job Dawgs!
BIGGEST thing to me. We fricking used our athleticism and PRESSED pretty much the whole game. Hallelujah!!! Play to our strength. IF we do that regularly, the passion is created by the scheme. Konkol can be whatever
GREAT first game! We looked better than I thought we would. Wichita State may be down some this year, but we showed we are going to be no pushover for anyone. Ugly at times, but got it done!
WSU will be salty before the year is done. They have a coach that will get them there.
First November home loss for WSU since 2008
This was a game we won because of team enthusiasm and intangibles. We were scrappy, played sharp and had the heart to keep playing when WSU put together runs.
Last year we lose this game. Really proud of the players and the coaches! It was a team win!
This was a great win any year for the Dawgs!
WTG!
