Dont ask about the QB. Just ask about the offense. He likely doesnt like a player singled out in a question. Just make him answer for the “offensive” play we’ve been seeing.

Line at -26 for Rice. Not sure we can score that many.
I hope there is some good red beans and rice this weekend. I'll be bringing some Cub Scouts.
From a win - loss perspective we've had a respectable season. But as anyone who has come to our home games has seen, it wouldn't have taken much for our record to be pretty bad. And for anyone who is halfway familiar with football, you have to wonder about our offense. I expect attendance will be really down, as so many have predicted.
So wouldn't it be ironic if we get another QB and light up Rice with an exciting blow out win before the smallest crowd of the year.
This is something I have been thinking about, and its a question I wanted to bring up on BBB because we are the hardest of the hardcore Tech fans and alums.
Knowing what we know now about Holtz, and what we think his mindset is (i.e. stubbornness) here is my question.
As bad as attendance and moral seems now, how bad will it be next year if we roll into the season with the rockstar at QB?
Skip will not endanger his season, he will start JMar and if we happen to have a big lead he will put in Elliot . He could have given Allen more than 4 minutes as the game was out of hand well before that time .
Or Cox. All he’s been given is a few handoffs.
As for Attendance, it'll be 10k.
Holtz football is boring and Tech Athletic Dept is not promoting the game. Doing the easy things like promoting through social media, we fail at. There is nothing out there about the Rice game Monday morning by latechsports. No ad, no video, nothing.
I think he will give Elliot at least a quarters worth of snaps. The only reason not to do it is preserving his ego. I think even Holtz has had enough of the non production from the Rock Star.
Holtz probably only cares about getting one more win to secure the bowl, but he does have a bit of contract incentive to win 8 games...
La Tech has also apparently set a target of eight wins per year (they’ve won nine games each of the past three years). The contract, which currently goes until 2022, will extend by a year each time the Bulldogs win eight or more games in a season. However, if he fails to win eight games in a given season, his buyout (which starts at $400,000) will decrease by $100,000. So in other words, Holtz gets another year every time he wins eight or more games, but becomes cheaper for someone else to hire every time he doesn’t.
so he didnt hit 8 last year. Does that mean it would only cost someone $300,000 to buy him out, and we still cant find a taker.... WTF, thats what we should be advertising, slightly used head coach with famous more successful father, low miles, cheap. $300,000 OBO
Would you people PLEASE stop with the Skip for ad talk?
If you think about it for a minute, you will see what a mistake that would be.
