    Top 25 help

Something doing for the show today. Looked in media guide and couldnt find it, maybe I missed it.

Last time we were in the top 25 in mens hoops? When was the last time we hosted a teams in the top 25 inside the TAC. Some of the games you remember?

Im thinking it has been since the WAC days

We played Middle last year two days before they cracked the AP Top 25.

If we hosted anyone in the Top 25 I'd have to say Nevada when we were in the WAC. Possibly Utah State, but I doubt it.

No ranked vs. ranked matchups in men's hoops ever in the TAC. Tech was ranked in 85 and again in 2013. We received votes in 88-89, 89-90, and 91-92 but were not ranked in the AP Top 25 in any of those years.

Oklahoma State was ranked No. 6 when we hosted them in late 91. That's the highest ranked opponent to ever visit the TAC.

Utah State was ranked No. 25 when we played them at home the last game of the season on March 5, 2011. I think that's the last Top 25 opponent to visit the TAC. They were a 30 - win team that year.

Big Country, Sean Sutton, and Byron Houston against P.J. Brown, Ron Ellis, and Bear Dade. It was a wild game.

The last time I felt good about our mens hoops was in the 2014-15 season. It was Mike White's 4th year at LA Tech. The Dawgs finished that season 27-9 overall, and 15-3 in CUSA. The Dogs finished the season with an 89-79 win over Central Michigan in their NIT opener in the TAC, then dominated TX A&M in College Station 84-72, before finally losing to Temple in round 3 of the NIT, 77-59.

Hey, HD, real quick; name a coach who was awarded COY awards in three different conferences during his first 6 seasons as a H.C.

    Hint: WAC, CUSA, SEC

Made the trip down to red stick yesterday, and watched M.W.'s team beat the tiggers last night in overtime in the PMAC. Fabulous game !!!!

Was courtside after the game to congratulate Mike and tell him we miss him at LA Tech, but they hustled him off for a t.v. interview before I got the chance.
