UAB has clearly been the best team in the west division this year, probably in CUSA. Their game at aTm will get national play on ESPN. It would be helpful for UAB to win, or at least play well since they are representing the conference. Yeah, I know...

UNT....man! 4-0 non-conference with a nice win at Arkansas, and just 3-3 in CUSA.

FAU seems to have turned it around and is likely bowl-bound. Will be @ UNT next week. Interesting matchup.

The east division is coming down every game matters for MTSU and FIU. Both with just one conference loss, but FIU holds tiebreaker over MTSU. If the Panthers win out, finish 7-1, they will win the east and face UAB. They are @ Charlotte and home to Marshall. MTSU hosts UAB.

FIU vs. UAB for the conference title. Hmmm.... let's see. One of the laughed-at former Belch Florida twins, but who hired a GOOD coach in Butch Davis, and a program that did not even exist two years ago, but who also have a GOOD coach. Not that winning the worst FBS conference really means all that much, but winning it > than not winning it.

All five Louisiana FBS teams won this weekend. Looks like all five could be bowling. The N.O. Bowl can match Tulane vs. one of the UL-Xs. That'll help their attendance woes.

This is too funny! LSU fans complaining about SEC refs...how they favor Bama. When they play other SEC teams, maybe they do. But for any SEC fanbase to complain about their refs is ridiculous.

I think they were commenting on the Bama-Moo State game yesterday, and the questionable calls favoring Bama. But you're right...Bama didn't need any help last week in BR.

I think the SEC officials are just overall bad in conference play, to be honest.

Fresno wasn't able to avoid the upset. Most years I would agree ND could be in real trouble, but this year I think they handle FSU pretty easily.
