For a couple of years. But after just bowling, KU fans will expect more. They remember Mangino, 10+ win seasons and the Orange Bowl appearance. They will expect more of the same from Les Miles. So, yeah, a 2-3 year "Honeymoon" but after that, the heat will be turned up.

No, after just bowling, the Kansas sunshine pumpers will say "remember when we were horrible? thank your lucky stars" and Miles will bleed them dry.

Speaking of Sunshine Pumpers, haven't seen D65 since the Moo State game. Is he so distraught his 10-2 prediction went up in smoke, he has quit the board?

Louisville - please hire Jeff Brohm as your new head coach. Then the Purdue job will be open and maybe this time Skip can get to the interview stage.

Purdue wants to beat P5 teams. Think they're dumb enough to hire Skip?

I don't known Glenn, it sounds like a good deal to me. It's an extra $5M.
I think his deal is going to be for more than $10M. Perhaps we will find out today at the press conference.

Kansas understands it is a 5 to 7 year turnaround. The quality of player has improved slighttly already. Look for Tony Hull to stay on staff. That would be a great first decision for he new Les.

If Les can get Kansas bowling things will work out just fine for Les and Kansas. He will feel no heat if he can regularly get to 6 or 7 wins. His job is to make Kansas a legit P5 football team, winning games in conference. All of his wins cannot be against FCS and G5 schools. He is already 65 years old, the plan is get stable under Les and in 7-8 years turn it over to someone else to try to take it to the next level.

Brohm will become the next Louisville head coach, but Holtz to Purdue will never happen. Sorry I would love to see him at Purdue as well.

I was right again, as usual. 5 years, $13.875 million plus bonuses.

I noticed Colorado waited to announce their vacancy until after it was confirmed Miles was going to Kansas. Coincidence? Not what my in-laws in Kansas (K Staters) are saying!

What is the coincidence or conspiracy in that? Maybe I am missing the obvious, but I am not following the thought process.
