So help me out here.. What was the point of the Mueller investigation? Ok he can't charge POTUS with a crime, but he can recommend some type of action to Congress can he not? There are checks and balances to have a POTUS removed from office if warranted. Why didn't Mueller recommend that to Congress if there was such compelling evidence? If Mueller couldn't even do that, then why did US spend tens of millions of dollars on this stunt?
The Mueller investigation wasn’t just about Trump.
But with respect to Trump, Mueller could have cleared him of wrongdoing. He clearly stated he couldn’t exonerate Trump on obstruction. It isn’t his job to recommend charges. That is the House’s job. It is the Senate’s job to try him for those charges. Mueller, serving for the executive branch, wouldn’t and shouldn’t usurp the role of the legislative branch, in this case the House.
It WAS his job to prepare a report with detailed facts and findings. In part II of his report, he outlined 12 instances where Trump engaged in obstructive behavior. If you actually read the report, particular part 2 pertaining to obstruction, it literally explains everything including why he did not make recommendations and discussed how it is within Congress’s authority.
And if the socialist Dems try impeachment watch their polling numbers of the American people fall, which it will drastically, then they will back off. The educated American voter knows this is strictly political theater by the hater Dems.
Our “expert” deal maker in chief now declares he can’t make a deal with the other party (that also wants an infrastructure bill) as long as he is being investigated.
