Oh. Well, I have neither.
In case you missed it...my use of "homophobic" rhetoric was not aimed at the homo, Mayor Pete. It was aimed at you! To my knowledge Mayor Pete doesn't read this forum.
That settled...
Tomorrow is gonna be very interesting. Looks like Comrade Bernie will win the lion's share of California, and probably Texas too. He'll also pick up delegates in some of the other states. If Creepy Sleepy Quid Pro Quo Joe is hoping for a magical boost from his win in SC, it's probably too little, too late. In Cal, for instance, over 2 million votes have already been cast in the extended early voting period. Same thing in some of the other states. Meaning if some of those voters might have voted for Biden (now)… Oops! too late.
Back to my good friend, for whom I have neither fear nor aversion, many pundits are saying he dropped out "to save the Dem Party" from Bernie. Others are saying he just wants to position himself for either a possible VP offer, or a cabinet position should Biden or Bloomberg win. Some think that's unethical or conniving, but in a free society (which we still are...) Mayor Pete can do what he wants (that's legal). It would be a huge step up, for one so inclined seeking a career in politics, to go from mayor of a small city to being a part of a presidential administration. Of course, sorry Pete, you'll have to wait a bit longer. Trump is gonna win re-election.
My prediction is the DNC will be in full panic mode after Tuesday.
