So, our brilliant AD is selling tickets for a product no one WANTS to watch at a 30% discount. We got tickets to take the kids to a movie tonight for a 37.5% discount, and it’s a product people want to see. Hmm......

Thanks for letting us know. Sad that this has not been talked about for weeks now. Also sad is that the coming NCAA sacks record is not being BLASTED over every form of media available. Our AD is such a micro-manager. Good grief!

I had it happen to me a few years ago when I lived in Georgia and wanted to make sure I got "good" seats. I bought tickets early at "regular" prices, then they offered a discount later. I didn't say anything because it could happen with anything (e.g., you buy something at full price, then the store has it on sale the next week). But this year, knowing attendance has been low, I decided to wait since I knew good seats would be available no matter when I bought tickets.

They have never asked us. Our family has, and will keep, 10 season tickets. We don’t begrudge anyone who gets a discount. Just hope people show up. Sell $5 GA tickets for all I care.

4 out of the last 5 years. That’s a tough game to get a crowd in for sure with the students out.

Even the weekend before Thanksgiving is tough for Tech attendance because of quarter break. I suppose semester schools have class through T or W.
