It is nice that we have three games all with play-off implications. Also nice to see Chase Daniel start his third NFL game, he may go over 100 attempts for his career today. Seems fitting as he has been paid over $28 million, so far.

Nice day for Chase Daniel. 27 for 37, 73% completion pct., 230 yards, 2TD's, no picks. And, a WIN! Not bad for your third days work in 10 years. Best job in sports? Back-up QB.
It was good. I caught part of all three games for once.
Saints run D vs Cowboys run game is going to be an interesting matchup next week. Strength vs strength.
I have been following the Bears D all season since they are on my fantasy team ... Chicago is a contender with that D. The Saints really need to keep pace with LA and that remaining schedule is tough.
The Lions have been disappointing this year. They always seem to be better on paper than they end up actually being. I'll grant them being injured a good bit this season. Golladay is a stud though and Kerryon Johnson is a keeper. Too bad he was out this week.
The NFC stands like this....at the moment:
1. Saints
2. Rams
3. Bears
4. Cowboys
And NOT just because those are the 4 division leaders. They are the division leaders because those are the 4 best teams in the NFC. Have to get the right cause-effect.
The Bears and Cowboys are doing it with defense, and that makes both dangerous. But, they are missing the other key ingredient: a championship-caliber QB. If the playoffs were to start now, the Saints and Rams would get first round byes, and the Bears and Cowboys would host a playoff game. I think the NFC semis would then be:
Cowboys at Saints
Bears at Rams
And he gets to do it in almost complete anonymity.

That is funny.
Reminds me when we were kids, especially at the Sugar Bowl games. The Oklahoma Sooners were pricks. They didn't even want to give us a chin strap. Some did reluctantly, kind of tossed 'em at us. But the Auburn Tigers were cool....and heck! Oklahoma won that game and should have been in a better mood.
At the Saints' Training Camp on David Drive, they were waaaaaaaaaaaay cool. They really were accommodating to we kids. Even played pitch and catch, and the Saints' punter Tom McNeil even was showing us proper punting techniques. The whole franchise was cool, even the team managers would toss us brand new chin straps, right out of the box. Maybe that's part of the reason they got us as fans for life. We really loved our Saints!
Capturing fans when they are young....good idea.
Yep. We've been keeping up with Chase Daniels a long time. My wife was good friends with Chases' mother (Vicki) when they both worked at Southwest Airlines back in the day. In fact, they met each other when Mrs Daniels was pregnant with Chase at the same time my wife was pregnant with our daughter. We later followed him while he was at Missouri and my daughter was at Baylor. They were Big XII rivals back then.
The bears are the big threat to the Saints right now. Their defense is legit. Ravens gave them one of the best games they have had this year. Bears would be a tough out. The others would be tough, but I hope we find a way to avoid the bears in the playoffs.
