I've never been a fan of Holtz. I was one of the few that hated the hire. He never came across as being such a Richard until this season and that is probably his most Richardish comment.

We won't win 3 games next year if Holtz is still running the show.

We should:
1) Fire the AD
2) offer AD position to Holtz (if he refuses it, fire him)
3) hire a young, up and coming coach that has a fire in his belly and will work his rear end off to prove himself at the FBS level.

If we do nothing, our program will digress to the UTEP level next year.

TMac and Holtz are putting Dr. Guice’s name in the mud with them. Dr. Guice Needs to step up and take the ownership of his university. He doesn’t want to be remembered as the president who killed Tech football program.

Think this through: The AD would be hiring the next FB coach. Do you think if Skip is AD, he will hire a "fun and gun" gunslinger coach? He may hire someone who buys into his fear-based conservative coaching philosophy. And would he micro manage the FB program as well as the other teams?
