    That was a terrible call.

Hopefully the Saints have finally snapped out of their Thanksgiving offensive slump. Maybe they passed that virus to the Rams who took a beating from CHI Sunday night.

Egomaniac Jerry Jones is looking like a genius for that Amari Cooper trade. Maybe he didn't give up too much after all if Cooper's production continues.

And nice job homer Cowboy refs. If they call offensive pass interference on that 4th quarter PHI TE TD then it should be offensive pass interference on Amari Cooper on his OT TD catch.

    X. Woods also flirts with targeting every week. That rule is eventually going to kill good free safety play (if it hasn't already). A big part of the job is to slobber-knock receivers trying to make catches down field.

The Cowboys have their own ref crew, apparently. Jerry Jones puts them up in a fancy suite and they work all their home games. I didn't post anything about it after the Saints game because I know it would come across as sour grapes. But, the Eagles got screwed BIG TIME too, and it was the exact same crew. At worst, the NFL needs to take that crew out of circulation....maybe send them back to ref school. Even FOX's ref experts were commenting about the "questionable" calls.

And that 62 yard FG of Dallas would have been good from about 67 - 70 yards. That ball's inflation pressure needed to be checked.

What about the roughing the passer called on a Cowboys D Lineman on a perfectly performed sack? He tackled him around his ankles and got flagged. Let’s just go to 2 hand touch and be done.

Yeah, if anyone even farts in the area of a QB it will likely be flagged.

Thanks Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers for bringing about penalties for going at a QBs legs. I didn’t think that was an terrible call. You say ankles, but it was really shins and knees. Has to be when the defender’s upper body is involved in the hit. Ankle is only possible if the defender reaches out and makes the sack with his hand(s) or arm by tripping him.

Saying a “perfectly performed sack” with the description of “tackled him around his ankles” are two phrases that don’t belong together.

NFL should train the snowflake generation of QBs to just drop to the ground as soon as a defender gets within 2 yards of them. They can show clips of Matt Schaub as a Houston Texan as part of the training.
