Troy has THREE straight 10-win seasons. Yet we are told it is unreasonable to expect just one.
CUSA fans are thrilled with a 4-2 bowl season....especially after an 0-2 start....yet! The Belch went .750 to our .677. In the only head-to-head matchup, the Belch team SMOKED CUSA's...let me see, what was that final score again...? Oh yeah, 45-13! They beat Middle Tennessee State, whoever that is.
It's as bad as informed people think.
Belch has one more game so they could end up at .600. Arkansas State plays Nevada.

Heart of Dallas Bowl cancelled due to weather. Was to be Boazy vs. BC. Wow! game was stopped in 1st qtr.
Guess that bad weather is coming this way!

The Heart of Dallas Bowl is now the "First Responders Bowl". Seems like they would have plenty of help if the bad weather was too much.
It is still rolling through Dallas; lightening and thunder and waves of rain.
Me either. Boston College drove down the field and scored a TD on Boise St, and then the game was called off. There's got to be a bunch of pissed off people who spent a small fortune traveling from Boston and Boise to attend this game. Those are not easy destinations to travel from to Dallas.
TCU and CAL are two of the ugliest football teams I've ever seen. Both offenses are anemic, and NEITHER deserves to win this game.
The score is tied, 7-7. They are now going into overtime.
Here's how bad these two teams are: At the end of regulation, TCU has generated only 260 yds of total offense for the entire game, and CAL has generated only 261 yds of total offense.
In OT now, there's been 9 Interceptions in this game --4 by CAL, 5 by TCU-- and both TCU kickers are awful. TCU missed a 42-yarder to win at the end of regulation.
TCU wins in OT, 10-7.
Horrifically bad game! 9 INTs! But the play of the game, temporarily saving it for Cal, was that 330 lb OL chasing down the TCU guy on what should have been a GW pick-6. Instead, the big OL caught the guy 70 yards down field!
TCU had a total of 28 yards passing for the game. The TV guy summed up the play of the total of 5 QBs used between the two teams: they are all dreadful.

3. Poulan Weed Eater Independence Bowl
For decades, this was the go-to example when listing off consolation-prize games or complaining about there being too many bowls. Saying “the Poulan Weed Eater Bowl” only happens when you’re making fun of bowl season.
This name became so synonymous with embarrassing bowl trips that, 19 years after it’d changed, then-Houston head coach Tom Herman summoned it to mock rival SMU.
"If you're satisfied with going 7-5 and going to the Poulan Weed Eater Bowl, then great. Then you're in the wrong program and we'll find a place for you to go. I hear there's a private school up in Dallas that's really looking to try to get to seven wins."
(Herman then lost an upset to that private school, proving the mere mention of the Poulan Weed Eater Bowl lowers one’s talent levels.) Topping the legendary Poulan Weed Eater Bowl was something I never thought I’d see. This was the 47-game Oklahoma win streak of terrible bowl names, and yet, see No. 1.
It looks pretty bad.
