    Nah. As soon as we would join UH, Cincinnati, Tulane, SMU etc would all bolt to form a new conference or to a Power 5. Then all of the old CUSA teams would jump in. Same ole, same ole. Let's just get competitive where we are and then maybe we would be considered for a better conference. The WAC has definitely been our best conference so far.

    The most important places where Tech is not competitive that impact conference membership are in the athletic and university administration.

    It goes without saying McClelland is in way over his head as an FBS AD. It is becoming increasingly evident that Guice doesn't have what it takes to do what is needed on the athletic side. And the academic side may be headed in the same direction.
