Jakson Thomson produced these stats in only 9 games. Apparently he missed the Week 6 loss to Duncanville (76-0) and the Week 7 win at WT White (55-22) with an injury. The game summary for the Duncanville game said "Lake Highlands (2-4, 1-2) played without standout quarterback Jakson Thomson, who was injured in the first quarter of Lake Highlands' 34-20 win over Richardson Berkner on Oct. 4."
For the season, his Lake Highlands team finished 3rd in District 8, of Class 6A, with a 6-5 overall record, 5-2 in their district.
On the downside, his team lost to Duncanville 76-0, in week 5 of the football season, without him. (Duncanville is 13-0 this year, ranked #1 in Class 6A, and is scheduled to play defending state champion Allen (14-0) this Saturday in the Class 6A state semi finals.) Jakson's team also lost 45-35 to Lake Ridge (Mansfield, TX) in the 1st round of the state playoffs. That game had a frantic finish, as Jakson and Lake Highlands scored the final 21 points of the game in the 4th quarter.
