Many casual fans only see the winning records in football, men's basketball, and baseball without much awareness of the circumstances behind those records. And then many fans in Ruston are content with the fact that Tech is ahead of ULM and UL-Lafayette from a perception and competitive standpoint.

The further you get away from Ruston the more critical our alumni base becomes.

Overall fans/alumns are unhappy about the direction of our athletic program. You can tell by the parking lot to the stands. We are seeing less folks driving up to Ruston early to tailgate. We are seeing less folks in the stands. The energy of the stadium has depleted through the years.

Guice and co should be concerned. Under Tommy's leadership we are heading in the direction of becoming the Sears and Kmarts of the college sport world.

Pretty much a noticable decline in every revenue generating sports the last 3 years - on the field and at the box office

Our football program is stagnant. We can regularly beat the hell out of most Sun Belt teams, but we struggle against P5 teams. I think it’s obvious that we need some young blood in our coaching ranks.
