Tech long snapper Reeves Blankenship lost his Grandpa just before Hawaii Bowl
Louisiana Tech long snapper Reeves Blankenship’s grandpa wanted his grandson to be with his teammates and play in the [Hawaii Bowl] game, “regardless of his own health.”
Reeves lost his Grandpa to Parkinson’s disease on Dec. 13 and was able to attend his funeral just before the Bulldogs left for Hawaii.
“He was an all-around, big influence on my life,” Blankenship said. “The best grandpa you could ever ask for.”

Great story about a good kid. Reeves will be a valuable member of society for a long time. Bob Anderson lived an incredible life impacting thousands of people in the most precious way possible. Imagine how great the world would be with more men like him. Bob is now enjoying the fruits of the sacrifice of his Savior. God bless him!
