I'm thinking Holtz may go back to his past with Mark Snyder. He's currently the DE coach at Florida State.... not sure if we could afford him, but he may want to run a defense again.
Twitter seems to indicate Diaz is coming for Kurt Hester too?
Wouldn't surprise me. I know he spoke highly of him in that podcast interview last summer.

I really like Manny. I'm pulling for him at Miami. I was watching his hiring press conference and he said: "We are going to get to the ball and make the tackle. There is no magic formula or everyone would be doing it." We were lucky to have him for a minute.
Me, too. I was really hoping he'd stay under the radar enough for long enough for us to hire him (when needed - preferably after an amazing year that gets Skip a P5 job) as a HC. It would never have been a long term deal - he'd have been gone after 1-3 years if we were any good. But that's what I was kind of hoping for.
We were just lucky with Manny. He was thrown under the bus at Texas and needed a place to revive his career.
I tend to agree. A lot of pieces clicked and I think he did improve over the season, especially from the past seasons.
But there was a lot of room to grow, and I think he benefited from Holtz's general scheme of "get as much talent as possible and hope it fills in the coaching gaps."
I will be PO'd if Diaz continues picking off our staff.
We are at a turning point once again. We REALLY NEED a great (not good) defensive coordinator to help our anemic offense. This hire is critical!
