I'd do that deal all day every day if I'm Rice. They probably truly draw around 10,000 people a game and will get at least 60,000 or more for LSU. 50,000 extra tickets x $50 or so is $2.5 million...Rice is making money. I know LSU would never do it, but if we could get them to come to Shreveport for the same deal, we should be all over it.

If there were 8300 fans there they were counting the mice and pigeons. More like about 2500 and most of those were Tech fans. That was the game they kept moving. First they had to move it from Rice Stadium so it wouldn't count for home attendance purposes (they already had a home game away from Rice Stadium that year). Then the Texans realized they really didn't really want a game a night before a home game on their natural turf so it was moved to Monday.

How will Tech perform in 2019? Compare the progress of 2017 to 2018 to see if certain players can realistically take steps forward: https://latech.rivals.com/news/detai...l-performances
