I don't think so.

I think we had 20 open for the 2019 season - he said we had 5 to play with after signing 15 players (Dec/Feb). We signed one more after that - so we are now at 4 spots open.

Clarification: HAD 20 spots available going into signing season for 2019.

From what I can tell, I believe we've only signed 1 WR this year, Kyle Maxwell, 6'3, 180, from Amite, LA. Don't we need more than this?

We have 17 on roster - coach was praising TCU transfer Isaiah Graham (sat out last year)

Sport, that was NOT a proper BBB response. What you should have said was:

As long as J'Mar's the QB, we don't need WR's.

After much consideration, I have decided to commit to Louisiana Tech to finish my collegiate football career. Thank you all for the support throughout this process. I couldn't be more excited to be a bulldog!

I don't think Murphy will move the needle much. He only started 3 games last year at UCONN, and made 11 tackles in the 2018 season. He also had one interception.

Don't get me wrong, we happily welcome him to LA Tech. He's a Bulldog now, and we're happy to have him.

Maybe he'll be another Houston Bates! Or, an Eric Shaw! Instant impact.


Even if he's "just" a contributor...awesome! It's a team sport, success is built from a stable of "contributors."

This was in my twitter box this morning. This kid is asking Tech coaches when "Junior Day" is at LA Tech.

I love his video. A true, pass catching TE! Love it. The kids got good hands. And remember, this was his sophomore year video (I think).
