RBG was absolutely against "packing the court." In a fairly recent interview she expressed that opinion. So, since we are supposed to adhere to her "dying wishes" the Dems better not try it.

Barrett has gotten RBG's office...hope it was properly fumigated and scrubbed with disinfectant first.

You guys are confused. Ah independent judiciary was the point all along. You don’t want any judge taking directions from a party or Congress. Similarly, Confess ahoy don’t be taking direction in the size of the bench from judges.

But it's okay for Congress (the Senate) to bow to "the dying wishes of old Ruthie"? That's what the Dems say. To hell with the Constitution, and precedent...29 times in history presidents nominated a SC justice in an election year...and the Senate was supposed to adhere to Ruthie's "dying wish" that she wanted the "next" president to fill her seat. And, as mentioned, she also said she thinks the SC should stay at 9.

I suppose we get to choose which "dying wish" we like, eh.

So why do the liberal SC judges march in lockstep to the Dem congressional wishes?
The conservative ones vote liberal a lot and against the GOP desires.

They don’t. You should especially look at Elena Kagan’s judicial record.
