Thank you coach for taking out the pitcher. It made all the difference in the world. That's no reflection on the pitcher himself (we all have bad days).

Anyone else having trouble with game 2 on cusa.tv ?
I am getting a message about the video is not available on this device, browser, or operating system.
This is the first time I have tried in a month or so. I don’t know if the first game would have played. Hoping this is just a one-time freak issue that will resolve soon. I don’t know what to try other than reboot and re-login. That didn’t work.
I watched game one but getting the same error message for game two. It's like they just forgot to turn the system on.
Okay, good to hear game 1 played.
I also tried the CUSA-TV app on Roku, but the steps it gives for linking a CUSA-TV subscription to view locked content never brings you anywhere to enter the code. Really annoying. It should be simple.
Tech's RPI went up from 60 to 48 after the win. Hopefully they can pull this one out. http://warrennolan.com/baseball/2019/rpi-live
Down 7-5 after 8.

Losing 2 of 3 at home to Troy is not going to get it done. These are the kind of series that come back to haunt us at the end of the year.
I've said it before and I hope he proves me wrong, but Burroughs looks just like another Holtz to me. He'll never get us to where we want to be.
Yea, I'm negative (realistic).
Looks like another sport with promise drown the drain. It's early, but losing 2 of 3 at home to a team like Troy is what keeps you out of regionals. We need to quit believing our own press and get down to business. Baseball is a finicky sport (that one is a preemptive strike for DFM), but the NCAA is hell bent on keeping teams like Tech out of the NCAA's any way or any excuse they can come up with. Get tough, Diamond Dogs!!
How many outs did we have on the bases... I go to alot of baseball games and I just don't know of any other school that GIVES outs like we do.

Unless Troy turns out to be world beaters (I doubt they do), this home series loss is a huge torpedo in our chances of getting a regional.
Two losses that could have been wins except for poor coaching. Too many simple mistakes that were ALL mental errors in both losses.
Saying that, Troy is a good team. They were good last year. These losses will not kill us at the end of the year like those we experienced in 2017 and 2018.
Troy definitely had the better fielding team than we did, at least that was my observation today

All in all, Troy had better coaching, hitting, pitching and base running. Tech’s coming through in the clutch is lacking. We’ve really got to work on swinging at strikes. Watching 2 strikes go over and only getting 1 swing isn’t enough for some of our batters. I’m still quite disappointed in our starting pitching. It doesn’t seem like we’ve got a dominant guy anywhere in our starting rotation.
