Former Bulldog wide receiver Quinton Patton’s consistency and “refined skill set” in the AAF should cause the Dallas Cowboys to consider him, writes Eli Cuellar on the Cowboys Wire.
Quinton “has managed to stand out among his peers” in the wide receiver “star power” of the AAF, he said, citing that Quinton is grading well in “many receiving metrics.”

I’d like the cowboys to sign Crabtree on a one year prove it deal. Earl Thomas signing seems to be inevitable at this point as well. Lots to be thrilled about!
Earl Thomas would help Woods a lot more than Heath does. He may help propel X into one of the best free safeties in the league.
They were throwing the ball in Patton's general direction a lot in the game on 3/9 (11 targets, 4 receptions, 26 yards), but most of the throws were either into triple coverage or out of his reach. It was ugly.
