Great crowd last night. Great turnout by USM fans. Why does our AD continue to allow visiting fans to sit in seats they did not pay for while making the students go up to the cheap seats?
Remember when he had his seat nazis touring the the TAC checking ticket stubs, and making people go back to the blue seats? He did not mind doing this to our own fans, but he makes our own fans remove USM fans from their own seats at baseball games.
BTW the concession stand is a total cluster.

I've been to other venues from UALR to Cowboys stadium, our game day operations needs ton of work. I know Tommy has visited other venues and watched how they do it. He's taking nothing back to make things better for Tech.
We need ushers and better concession management (even if they are volunteer groups, management should give them training).
Need a real Athletic Director first...

La Tech is Southern Miss’ home away from home. They own the Dawgs, so with that being the case it figures to them sit where they want. I guess we should be thankful they aren’t having us make conseccion stand runs for them.

For Saturday's game the SM fans took over the parking lot. A motor home used two parking spaces, and they roped off another six spaces for their tailgating activities. I asked a Tech cop why they were allowing this to happen. He responded that they did not have any instructions to prevent it.
At another game a contractor or the Tech buildings and grounds department took tw o spaces for a back hoe and two spaces for a tractor. Frequently the visiting team's bus will park in the lot and wipe out two to four parking spaces.
Prime parking is very limited for baseball so The AD needs to have a skull session with the Tech police chief and make sure that the interest of the Tech fans is protected.
He doesn't care about the general Tech fans. If you ain't one of his high rolling contacts, he doesn't have time for you.

The softball parking lot was empty when the SM fan fired up the grill at 6:45 on Saturday morning..... The rest of the lot was empty.
