I need someone to explain the criteria for a transfer waiver that eliminates the sitting out a year. Last year it was the Ole Miss QB going to Michigan and now a Ohio State QB is going to Miami without sitting out a year. Have we ever had a case like that? Maybe it's just for the P5s.

It looks like both situations used coaching turmoil for the waiver
