I noticed that release is from Feb. 6.
Word is Tech flipped West Monroe all-state Defensive End Andrew Gleason from ULL as a preferred walk-on right after NSD. I see it as a top get. The guy is Tech grad/WM Head Coach Jerry Arledge's grandson, and as a result therefore, a walking knowledge of defense and strategies. I'm hoping one more from this year's WM offensive senior class walks onto the practice field in August. He'd be a steal.

Honestly, I just thought he was a back at West Monroe. He's fast, but he didn't wow me. I thought the backs at Ouachita were better, and I thought the QB from Ruston was the best athlete in the district. (Full disclosure: Against us, all of the backs looked great because we were so slow on defense.)
