When you've lost as many as 12 in a row on the road, you change things up. Whatever we were doing obviously wasn't working.

And it's not like ice cream for road wins is a Tech tradition. Fox brought it with him from Tulane where it worked so well.

The shameful part is, the Dogs could have easily won another 3 or 4 close games, which would have made this season look a whole lot better.Tech lost 4 road games by a grand total of 11 pts, including the OT loss at USM.

Losses that could've been Wins:

@ UNT, 63-59
@ ODU, 64-63
@ USM, 73-71 (OT)

Win those 4 games, and the Dogs finish 23-8, with a much better outlook on the post season.

I tend to look at it a little differently. Dogs actually finished 17-12 for the regular season (forget the non-D1 "exhibition" games).
