Well, that's depressing, if you are a Dawg fan. LOL!The Mean Green are one of the most efficient teams in the country on offense. They are shooting 49.7 percent from the field and 39.4 percent from three, both marks ranking first in C-USA and in the top 20 in the country.
Javion Hamlet, last year's C-USA Player of the Year, anchors the squad again, averaging 13.9 points and 4.8 assists per game. He also ranks first in the conference in free throw percentage at 91.7 percent.
Rice blows out Southern Miss 88-62 in Houston this afternoon to open the C-USA weekend.

Williams out after apparently reaggravating his back issue from last week. He went down hard on a drive with no foul called.

Williams clipped in the ankle right after the timeout during a steal and has to come out again.
Stadium app on AppleTV was “unavailable”, and I couldn’t get it to airplay from my iPad. Finally installed the Stadium app on Firestick, and it worked. We better win after all that hassle.
Other than one Crawford three-ball, Tech is zilch beyond the arc.
Crawford makes two great plays back-to-back and then Archibald throws a lazy pass that gets picked off.

Way too many sloppy turnovers, and the Tech defense is being penetrated too easily.
Tech missed two chances to close the lead in the last minute. UNT up 32-29 at halftime.
Lofton kept Tech in the game with Crawford sitting with two fouls.
Archibald and Pemberton have got to get their heads in the game. And having Williams out after the ankle injury didn't help.

Middle Tennessee beat Charlotte by 1, ODU came back from 14 down at halftime to beat Marshall by 1, and UTSA beat FIU by 7 in Miami. WKU at FAU is postponed/canceled.
Tech hot out of the locker room with Williams back in. Tech up 38-32 with 17:10 left on a 13-0 run since UNT's largest lead at 32-25 late in the first half.
9-0 run to start half - up 38-32
Loftin’s got to work on those free throws. Seems he was shooting them okay earlier in the season.
