    The No. 18 Louisiana Tech baseball team owned a 3-0 lead heading into the final three innings, but saw the McNeese Cowboys plate two in the seventh and three in the eighth as the hosts took a 5-3 comeback victory on Wednesday evening from Joe Miller Ballpark.

    That loss hurt. Dropped us below sorry ole Clemson who has 1 win is the last 9 games. Actually, that's proof of how much SOS is bull$#!^. Just be a member of a conference that sells the most beer for ESPN and you automatically get a high SOS.

    Walks lose games. We scored 30 runs in two games against Marshall last weekend. Marshall issued 26 walks. Last night the free passes were the winning runs. Regardless who is on the mound - gotta throw strikes. We dont have bull pen depth. We win when we score 6+ runs or we get solid pitching. Last night we did neither. Unfortunately, college baseball is much like college basketball, it's hard to get in post season unless you win your conference regular season, tourney or are in the top 12 of the SEC who gets multiple bids. CUSA will likely get two teams in post season and if we play .500 baseball here on out we will not be one. However, this team just lost its home field to the storm. Here's to hoping the best for these guys as they play the remainder of their games on the road. HBTD!
