We had the hits and the pitching to win 3 of 4 this week. Like the last two seasons we lacked coaching. Our coach knows that. The players know that. Our AD's goal is 35 wins . Many of our money fans will use the obvious excuse.Originally Posted by SicemDawgz

Short of winning the tournament, we are out of a Regional again. That will make Coach 0 for 3. If winning 35 games is the threshold for a coach here, looks like we have our man.
Planning to be there. NSU is 25-18 with wins over LSU and Arkansas this year. It's baseball and anything can happen. But good teams tend to be more consistent. It's "only" a midweek game, but the Dawgs need this one to right the ship.
Until Burroughs is able to prove he can lead a team to more than just a "good" season then that's the level of coach he is. Seems like a great guy, great character, his players like him and I think he can recruit; however, his approach produces the same results which is "good but not good enough."
Apart from a miraculous finish winning 11/12 we will need to win the tourney and I dont see any faltering with USM. USM has shown that even when they lose key players they find a way to reload and dominate the conference again. Remember, next year we lose A LOT and have no starting pitching returning, at lest half of our starting position players gone. OUCH
That's only 7 more wins than losses, and which team in Louisiana hasn't beaten LSU? I hope we aren't one of the few that hasn't.

NSU already owns a win over us. So, based on what you're saying, NSU sucks...only 7 wins over .500....everyone beats LSU, no biggie there...what's that say about us if NSU sucks, especially is we lose again tonight? But, even if we win, it's no biggie...NSU sucks!
Missed the whole point. LSU has lost to NSU, McNeese, Southern, ULL, and barely squeaked one out against SLU (in the 9th) and Nicholls (in the 10th). LSU is not the standard no matter how much you want to be.
No, I did not miss any point. We were talking about tonight's opponent, NSU, and after you lost that argument, you changed the subject to LSU. Well, good thing NSU sucks else they might have swept us this year.
Just because you say I changed the subject doesn't mean I did. NSU isn't very good and neither is LSU, but we're worse. We suck.
