    Re: China

China is ramping up its harassment and testing of Taiwan's readiness and resolve. The Chicoms continue to violate Taiwan airspace and have done so 8 times this month, most recently sending some Su-30 fighters and a couple of Y-8 troop transport planes, those used to insert Chicom paratroopers. The Taiwanese scrambled interceptor fighters and the Chicoms turned back. The passage of the Chicom carrier task force between Taiwan and Japan, and its sailing south to circumnavigate the island nation is seen as a test to see how Taiwan would shift its defenses to deal with the threat.

Some pundits are saying if China wants Taiwan than the week of November 3rd, during much domestic upheaval in the US, would be prime time for them to act. Others doubt the Chicoms would be so stupid. But, faced with this possibility, the US has just agreed to sell Taiwan $7 billion worth of new weapons that include cruise missiles, mines, and MQ-9 Reapers (drones). These are all defensive weapons and would greatly deter an invasion attempt by China.

In other related news, relations between Vietnam and China have grown more strained and the Vietnamese, some pundits say, are most likely to either stay out of any conflict in the region involving China, or likely, side with the anti-Chicom coalition. North Korea remains a wildcard, but its most likely actions would be to invade South Korea, rather than take part in a wider conflict.

The Chicoms are throwing all their weight behind Biden, hoping he will win and render the US hapless again.

    Re: China

Now Russia (Putin) is thumbing its nose at China. Thursday, 9/17, Russian and Indian officials inked a new "agreement in principle" to work together to check Chicom expansionism. The trigger point is the dispute over Vladivostok, a key port city in southeastern Russia, just a little northeast of North Korea and close to the China border. The Chinese claim the land, a peninsula connected back to the Asian mainland, was illegally seized by Russia in 1860 as China was busy fighting the British-French in the 2nd Opium War. The Chicoms want the land, and the port city, back. But of course the Russkies say "bite me."

This week India agreed to work with Russia facilitating merchant ship passage around the tip of India allowing easier trade....and communication(supply) with Russian troops stationed on the peninsula. The region is populated by 800,000 Russians, and has navy, air force, and army bases there. Currently Russia has fairly limited military assets in the vicinity...a move seen previously so as not to provoke the Chicoms. But now the Russian Defense Minister says the agreement with India will allow more troops and assets to be deployed there.

OF COURSE!!! I don't trust Putin. He has ulterior motives, as always. But, right now China is the single biggest threat to world peace, and if "the Bear" can help contain the ambitions of "the dragon" then okay. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Mostly, Beijing has got to be looking around and seeing the noose tightening. As the Indian Minister said this week, "China knows it has two superpowers sitting on its northern and southern flank, who will not tolerate Chinese expansionism." Okay...I don't know that India qualifies as a "superpower" (yet), but they do have nukes and an ever-growing military.

Once again, we see the brilliance and the accomplishments of President Trump. None of this, NONE of this! was happening as recently as 2016. Since he has taken office in 2017 Trump has focused on checking China. Rebuilding the US military and building partnerships in the Pacific. Emboldened by the leadership of the US, knowing that, under Trump, the US has their backs, nation after nation is standing up to the Chicom bullies. And their stupid (careless) release of the China Virus, which has wreaked so much havoc, has further strained relations and a willingness to work with China. The Chicoms are getting more and more isolated.

    Re: China

    Return of the Eagle!!!

The P-51 Mustang was the best fighter plane of its era, Generation 2. And the F-15 Eagle has been the best of its era, Generation 3. Not a single F-15 has been lost in combat. None! Whether flown by US pilots during Desert Storm or by allies, such as Israel in its numerous scraps, the Eagle is undefeated. Has a combat record of now 110-0. The venerable F-15C has been the backbone of US and allies' air fleets since the 1970's. But, alas, as the world moves into Generation 4 fighters, such as the US F-22 and F-35 fighters, and most of the US F-15s are showing their age...metal fatigue in the air frames, etc...it appears it will be relegated to the history books.

Not so fast, my friend!!! says Lee Corso.

Boeing has built a brand new version of it, the new F-15EX Eagle. The F-15 has been, and now can continue to be the most lethal fighter in the world. It is unsurpassed as a weapons' platform. No fighter...nothing the Russians, Chicoms, Germans, or French have built even comes close to the F-15 Eagle. And the very expensive F-22 and F-35 would be smart to run away and hide if they ever had to duel with an Eagle in a dogfight. For instance, because the F-35 is a stealth plane and has tons of awesome technology that makes it Star Trek-like, it had to sacrifice something, and that was weapons' poundage. The F-35 has only 6 air-to-air missiles. The F-15EX Eagle will carry 30 such missiles. That is not a mistype. Yes, 30 vs. 6 missiles.

Congress authorized the USAF to buy only two of the new Eagles in the 2020 budget. They are operational and those two are being used to train the current F-15C pilots we have. The USAF has put in to buy 6 more in 2021. Ultimately the USAF plans to buy 72 of the new Eagles to replace the aging fleet of the F-15Cs. Combat planners see a perfect marriage between the new Eagles working along side the F-35s. A flight of four F-35's working with a squadron of the new Eagles, 15 planes, would be an unbeatable combination. The F-35s with their advanced technology would locate, target and jam the systems of the enemy planes and the Eagles would be turned loose to swoop in and easily destroy them. Sitting ducks...

The new F-15EX Eagle is not just a simple update of the F-15C. It has all the technology it needs, not to mention powerful engines making it the second fastest jet fighter in the world. The fastest fighter is the French-built Dassault Rafale. The same jet India just purchased from France to upgrade its air fleet. But the Rafale, while a superb fighter, does not have the weapons' platform of the Eagle.

And China has nothing, absolutely nothing, that can hope to match the F-15EX Eagle.

    Re: China

The new B-52...okay, updated, to be designated B-52J. Brand new engines and better technology, reducing the size of the crew. Most of the weapons' systems are fully automated eliminating need for some crewmen. The cruise missiles, 8 of them held in the belly, are on a rotating cylinder...think revolver. The cylinder turns, a cruise missile drops out of the doors, ignites its engines and off it goes, then the next missile drops, etc...each missile can be individually programmed and course changes applied by the weapons' officer. If the mission warrants it, an additional 6 cruise missiles can be mounted under the wings.

The upgraded Buffs will have advanced defensive measures and can be outfitted to serve a variety of tasks, including deploying nukes, of course. With the improvements now, and those slated in the future, the incomparable B-52 is expected to be in active service into the 2060's...marking one century of active duty. Amazing.

    Re: China

Just watched a very interesting video "War of the 2030's." Yes, it's chock full of speculation based on an array of assumptions, but fascinating nonetheless, as it does contain a wealth of current information, upon which the speculation is based.

    On China...

it is the oldest nation in the industrialized world, with an average age of just over 40. China's one-child policy now in its 4th decade and the cultural aspects which nurture people to live long lives has combined to create an aged population. The standard of living for the average Chinese citizen, while improved, still falls below industrialized nations' standards. Basically, China is an "old, poor" country.

Water...China has a huge problem. To which the Chicoms have been building dams to control fresh water. This includes plans to build up to 300 dams on rivers and streams in the Himalayas which will adversely impact their neighbors, including India. The Indians are quite upset about it. The China vs. India, and the new "Trump Coalition" disputes might be the ignition point of a world conflict.

Russia has similar issues as China, only not quite as acute.

The producers of this video predict the US will continue to remove itself from "control" around the world. The decline of American hegemony will create power vacuums especially in the Middle East, central Asia, and Africa. It will be Africa which will feel the impact first, and worst. China and Turkey will flood Africa with their influence causing wars, civil wars, and all kinds of unrest. This due to the absence of American power which, right now, has a shield over Africa. Yes, there is strife in regions of Africa, localized conflicts, but nothing continent-wide. The video states "There is relative peace in central Africa because America says that's the way it will be." Remove American influence and central Africa will quickly dissolve into conflict with various factions, backed by various international powers. It will be brutal and cause massive casualties among civilian populations.

For instance, the water problem for Egypt, which is dependent on the Nile for fresh water in its interior. China is negotiating with Ethiopia to build dams to block the flow of the headwaters of the Nile. This will greatly impact Egypt. China/Ethiopia have used the carrot/stick approach to recruit Sudan to their side, promising cheap hydroelectric power, and threatening them if they don't cooperate, which has isolated Egypt in northeast Africa. The Egyptians lack the military might to stand against this coalition and will seek outside help. Some say Turkey is a likely benefactor for Egypt...in exchange for favors. This will lead to wider conflict in the Middle East.

It has now been 75 years since the end of WWII. This is the longest period in world history without world-wide conflict. Some historians point to "the 200 years of peace under Roman rule" as the longest period. But other scholars scoff at that insomuch as there was "peace" only because Rome ruled the known world with an iron fist and its powerful army quickly put down rebellions. But, during most of that time, the Mongols and the Huns were engaged in conquering other parts of the world. Hardly a period without world conflict. So...we are overdue for another world war, according to the producers of the video.

Another hot spot that might spark a world war is central Asia, all those small countries which were part of the old Soviet Union. They are also experiencing natural resource problems, namely fresh water, and have political conflicts spurred by socialists/commies vs. democratic forces and the infusion of Islam supplanting orthodox religions. The central player seems to be Uzbekistan. It is positioned astride rivers and key crossroads in the region, and by central Asian standards, has built a small, but powerful military. Certainly enough to conquer its neighbors if left alone to do so. China is backing the eastern part of central Asia, Russia the western part, and Iran (Islamists) is meddling in the southern part.

Place your bets...where will World War III start?

    Re: China

With the likely prospect that China will get their man Biden in the WH, the world turns to India to stand firm. The Trump administration is rushing sales of weapons and equipment to India, just as it is operating at warp speed supplying other allies who will have to hold the line against Biden & his Chicom buddies.

For over a year the Chicoms have denied and poo-poohed any notion that India was a key member of some kind of coalition that will thwart their ambitions. Well, well...yesterday Xi finally referred to "the Quad" as a threat to China's expansion plans. "The Quad" is a series of 4-nation coalitions working together in different parts of the world, with slightly different goals/targets, but always against the Chicoms. India is a member of each of those quads, and the US is a part of a couple of them, for instance, the US, India, Japan, and The Philippines specifically addressing shipping lanes between the South China Sea and the Indian Ocean, or the quad of Russia, India, Turkey, and Australia addressing the Chicoms' influence in Africa...

...in other words, there is no firm definition of the term "the quad" but is rather a loosely applied description of, by coincidence, 4-nation agreements who have come together in a shared effort to stop Chicom expansionism. Collectively, and for convenience, any coalition involving India is now referred to as "the quad" by the Chicoms.

All the Chicoms have to do to greatly weaken "the quad" is to hire Hunter Biden as a consultant...the US will disappear from the Pacific Ocean.

It'll happen here too if/when Harris becomes president. She has already said she is coming after Trump supporters, including those who dared to contribute to his campaign.

Totally within the CCP playbook, but Tucker didn’t really press her on the facts around the detainment.

Also, doesn’t change the fact that her report on the virus has been thoroughly debunked.

So if her work is totally without merit, then why does CCP need to arrest her mom as attempt to silence her? Why does most of Big Tech, and Billionaires (See Bill Gates, and Bezos), NBA, all cave and stay silent to China's slavery, concentration camps, human rights abuses, etc. Or do those things not exist in China and it is fake news reporting on that?

I think you know the answer to your question. CCP doesn’t like bad press or for people to question the government, regardless of whether the accusations are true or false. The use these tactics to deter others from doing the same.

As a business, if you want to take advantage of the Chinese market you have to walk a fine line not to damage the sovereignty or face of the CCP.

Yep! I was among those, back in the '90's into the early 2000's who wanted China to join the world community, as a peaceful, contributing member. I saw so much potential there, and there still is among the general populace, and had hoped that somehow the government would see the benefit of moving toward a more open, capitalist society. There were isolated patches of capitalism popping up, especially in the provinces close to Hong Kong, and it was being nurtured by local officials and by international business investment. The standard of living...the pure happiness!...of the Chinese people in those places was obvious.

Now, the only hope is to crush the commie regime, and that will have to occur internally...with some international assistance and encouragement. Biden/Harris getting elected will cause a setback in this. I do think though that led by India, Japan, Australia and other nations who are jumping on "the Quad" bandwagon, the Chicoms will be contained until we can get a real POTUS again. If Trump is re-elected, it will bring the Chicoms to their knees sooner, which will be so awesome for all those wonderful Chinese citizens and for the world in general.
