So...in an attempt to create a "Hey, look at what we're doing" the Biden Admin has announced a "new" alliance with Britain and Australia to offset the "concerning" military moves of the Chicoms. A Pentagon official, who declined to be identified, because he would be fired and that effing idiot Merrick Garland would label him a terrorist, stated there are no real departures from the policies in place thanks to a real president, Donald Trump.
Yes, the Biden Admin has announced some specific activities, like a joint venture with Australia to turn some of the Mariana Islands into advance bases and supply depots. Okay, fine, great. I applaud any such pragmatic endeavors designed to thwart the Chicoms. Wonderful! But some stupid Biden WH official (not named in the article) said they are trying to "fix" the broken trust with our allies. BULL-ficking-SHIT!!! It was President Trump who made the trip to India and Japan and met with our Pacific allies and it was Trump who created the concept of The Quads, joint defensive alliances. Hell! Trump even motivated left-leaning Norway to join in with us!
So, okay, as a fair-minded person, one of impeccable integrity () I acknowledge any positive moves the Biden Admin makes toward building a global network of defense to crush the evil dreams of the Beijing commie bastards. The commies are the real enemy foreign...and domestic. But, I can't tolerate the BS crap about how Trump "wrecked" our relationships with traditional allies. In fairness to Biden et al the Chicoms have been building up, extending their reach for decades, and they will continue to do so if they can get away with it. Trump stood up to the Chicoms, to the point they feared an attack from the US and our allies. The Chicoms recalled all of their deep ocean subs back to their territorial waters to help defend the mainland when Trump was POTUS. But, in the past few months, those same subs have once again ventured out to threaten small countries, to bully them into agreeing to some cooperative endeavor with China. That's the difference between a real president, like Trump, and this wishy washy, bought-off POS Biden.
The Chicoms lived in constant fear of Trump and what he might do. That kept them in check. But all the while they were still developing weapons' systems and plotting their next moves when another obummer type became POTUS. Well, here ya go...

I suspect, and hope, there were similar poll results when obummer was prez. Truthfully, given that Trump rebuilt our military and/or got it back on a rebuilding footing, Biden inherited an establishment moving in the right direction. For the most part the infrastructure (equipment/logistics) has been mostly repaired. Remember, under obummer, there was a very dangerous period where we had NO super carrier groups at sea. None! First time since 1935 that happened to the US. And Biden has continued most of Trump's policies and has actually doubled-down on a few, such as the new agreement with Australia.
Putin and Xi have no respect for Biden and his horrible administration. They are high school dropout pimple-faced kids "in charge." That's why there is waning confidence the US military can deal with a serious threat.
When you have the the top two people at DOD talk about CRT and inclusion, gender fluidness, white supremacy, racism, and global warming as opposed to training about how to do their job our enemies take notice. When you see how much of a cluster evacuation in Afghanistan was, it's not hard to reach these opinions.
The Chicoms are using economic blackmail to isolate Taiwan. Nicaragua is the latest country to give in to Beijing's policy of refusing to do business with a country, including no capital investments, until that country cuts off all economic dealings with Taiwan.
First, the Chicoms are meddling in this hemisphere and that should not be allowed by the US and our allies, period. Secondly, we should issue our own edict to said countries, like Nicaragua, who are agreeing to the Chicoms' demands: no more US aid! None, nada, zilch! Instead, we should take all those many $tens of millions and channel it to Taiwan. And any and all Nicaraguaians here will be deported...to China!
