Well, perhaps it would be capitalism IF we did not have the long arm of government in every business telling them who they have to hire, what they have to pay them, what time off they MUST be given, what benefits they must have, etc.

I am glad the people are free to leave the steel mills and factories to flip burgers, because these other countries they are supposed to be competing with don't have stuff like the EEOC, child labor laws, overtime laws, etc. First our brilliant government "gives" them all these things at a great cost to businesses, then they scream "FREE TRADE" and "CAPITALISM" when companies move elsewhere because the costs of building stuff is too high here.

Also, don't forget about the costs in security when you depend on folks that want to destroy you for things you need to protect yourself from them.

Guess those jobs aren’t as valuable anymore. There is going to be a whole lot more disruption in the future.

Meanwhile US employers are having a hard time finding employees in certain high school areas.

    That is capitalism for you!

I can't help myself. As much as I tell myself this is like passing a bad wreck along the highway, don't look. Don't "rubber neck!" I find myself opening these threads just to see the latest dumb thing Goosey has posted. And I am rarely disappointed.

Trump claims victory in China trade deal and cancels massive new tariffs due to kick in Sunday, saying Beijing has agreed to 'massive' purchases of U.S. products

'The Penalty Tariffs set for December 15th will not be charged,' the president tweeted, but older tariffs would remain in place as China decides how much to spend on U.S. agriculture products.

Did we get our IP rights or did we settle for soybeans?

Cause we could have signed the soybean deal 9 months ago, without interrupting US capex investment.

I remember hearing someone in news say that any breach of our IP would result in sanctions or tariffs or something.

You wouldn’t need an agreement to do that. I guess we won’t know exactly what the deal does with IP. Some think the only thing that it does is agree to continue negotiating IP, forced tech transfer, cyber. Guess we will eventually know.

Pelosi and her Squad have been blocking everything pro-American of Trump's since he took office.

If Trump had just sat around and done nothing except invite pimps and rappers to come to the whitehouse and party with him, the democrats would have liked him a whole lot more. The democrats are upset with Trump because he loves this country and works so hard for this country to make it better for everybody and doesn't drink or do drugs and neither does his kids. Aren't he and his family just really awful people.

Edit: I have heard that Donald Trump,jr likes to go hunting with his his deplorable friends and has even been seen in Walmart.

And Trump loves our military men and women as well as our police forces. And he loves the innocent unborn babies in America. Likewise, our small and large business owners and the U. S. Constitution.
