Poor ole Sleepy Joe. Dang! can't catch a break. Here he was celebrating his first, and only, military action, the shooting down of that very dangerous balloon, and now this. The Chicoms claim the balloon was a civilian weather balloon and are filing a claim in international court demanding compensation. You know weakling Joe Biden will give in, have to apologize, say that Trump shot down three such weather balloons...and then have to be corrected as Jill dashes up to the mic and walks that back. Poor OLD Joe! Can't do anything right.
The most important discovery of the recovery efforts thus far is the acknowledgement that we did not (could not) jam communications between the intelligence gathering apparatus on the balloon and the CCP. This blows up the initial misinformation provided by our Pentagon.
Of course, this was obvious to those of us that realized the balloon was still being guided to fly over sensitive areas.
I am starting to believe our guys about as much as I believe the CCP.

During WWII the Japs sent 9,300 balloons with firebombs attached, in an attempt to terrorize the US population, start fires and wreak as much havoc as possible. Only about 300 of them reached US territory, mostly on the west coast. Six civilians were killed in fires started by the bombs. No military targets were hit. One flew all the way to Nebraska before it released its bomb which landed harmlessly in a field. There were timing devices rigged to go off and release the firebomb.
And another shot down over Lake Huron.
Now Chicoms are claiming the US has balloons over China, spying on them. They are incapable of an original thought.
