We will see. Consider evaluating his performances a little more. Look at last year and this year (so far). He should never have been considered our best (Friday Night) going in. FWIW, our HC has never pitched his best guy on Friday. He pitches his best on Sunday. No doubt, that Bailey has been our best for the past two years.

FAU and Southern Miss are in without a late season collapse. If someone other than those two wins the tournament, it will be interesting to see what happens. I don’t see how we are more than a 2 bid conference this year IMHO.

    Just win the next one...

The two loses to NWst where we lost the lead late and the losses to McNeese and ULM where we loss the late leads are the killers - not the two sweeps in conference

Keep one thing mind. If we can win these next 2 series we'll at least put ourselves in position going into the tournament. Then in the tournament the ideal situation for Tech is to face one of these two in an elimination game situation. Winning that game then makes it easy for the Committee. Winning a head to head elimination game in a conference tourney at our level overcomes an RPI difference of 8 to 10 spots if both schools involved are in the Top 50 in the rpi.

I agree partly. I think Southern Miss is in regardless of the tournament results. I could see that coming into play if we beat out FAU though, especially with the fact that we won that series on the road. As Dwayne said, gotta win the next one first and see what happens.
