What is Texas paying them?
UTSA is getting $8.52 million over the 5 games, an average of $1.7 million per game, but from the article, it appears the first matchup will be just over $1 million and increase from there. UTSA has never played for a $1 million or greater guarantee before and won't until 2020 against LSU ($1.4 million). Their two largest guarantees prior to this were from Texas A&M: $800K in 2016 and $900K for this year's upcoming matchup. UTEP has not disclosed their financial terms.
