Don’t we though. It’s a sad thing to be a Tech fan. Always eventually and ultimately let down.

USM just scored 3 runs in bot 9 to tie it up against Rice, 4-4. More extras.... sucks to be the night game tonight.
PS: Gruesome injury for the rice first baseman in bottom 9 on a collision at first. Forearm broken in half. Watch the replay at your discretion.
Final Rice 4 USM 6 in a stunning comeback, finished off by a Wallner 2 run jack just over the right field fence. We’ll play Rice at 9 AM tomorrow. It’ll have been a quick trip to Biloxi for me as as Tech has not won a game against Rice all season and don’t see it happening tomorrow. Rice will then play the loser of USM and Marshall on Friday.
Game # 5 (3) LaTech vs (7) Rice @ 9am [Elimination Game]
Game # 6 (8) UTSA vs (5) ODU @ ~ 12:20pm [Elimination Game]
Game # 7 (6) Marshall vs (2) Southern Miss @ ~4pm
Game # 8 (1) FAU vs (4) WKU @ ~ 7:30 pm
So every higher seeded team won on opening day except one, that's right, The Louisiana Tech.
The No. 7 and No. 8 seeds move on to face the No.1 and No. 2 seeds in the semifinal round of the #CUSABase Championship!
Join us starting tomorrow at 9:00am CT ⚾️
USM's pitcher threw a no-hitter yesterday against Rice. The Golden Eagles face FAU today in the championship game at 1 p.m. on the CBS Sports Network.
As of last night D1baseball.com had USM as of the first five out of the tournament if they don't beat FAU.

Congrats to Christian Ostrander. His Southern Miss staff threw 19 consecutive scoreless innings to end the CUSA tournament in victory. Amazing performance!
So...is FAU going to join USM in the field. When is the selection?
FAU goes to Athens GA. USM goes to Baton Rouge.
