Burroughs has no clue how to engage his team in trying to generate some momentum. With Robinson getting a single he has Clayton swinging away who flies out to shallow center leaving Robinson stuck on first. Then because Burroughs screwed up that opportunity he tries stealing second with Robinson thrown out. Subsequently Young walks so coach wastes Robinson. A wild pitch puts Young at second... Burroughs can’t get it right for getting everything wrong.

Why didn't LB bunt Clayton? How different the 3rd could have been.

Our runner was wasted, but that wasn't a straight steal attempt. It was a botched hit-and-run attempt.

Because we were already behind 3 runs and can't afford giving up outs playing for 1 run when we're gonna need a lot of runs to win this game.
