Error #5. Not sure how we are even in this game
Error #5. Not sure how we are even in this game
And the 5th error of the game lands their first hitter on first.
It seems like Clayton has had about 3 at bats to drive in a run and ultimately win this game without success.
Now Tech makes its 5th, that’s right 5 errors. You can’t win games making multiple errors and not getting hits. We seem by some strange misfortune destined to never do what it takes to overachieve.
Double and now they have runners at 2 & 3rd.
Braxton is in his 4th inning.
Ball game! Tech fails again... in every way imaginable. 0-2 here we come.
It would take a miracle for us to win now.
Last chance, 3 up, 3 down to go out with a whimper. Regardless of the sport Tech is the very best at giving their opponents a good game ending with an unimaginable more often than not an unearned victory.
What shit!
This team is an effing joke. Six hits and five errors.
Our coaches are the best at getting the least out of their players.
Burroughs = Holtz.
LB has a helluva record in the CUSA tournament. How has he not been hired away?
The saddest thing of all is that Marshall is not a better team than text, Tech has a mentality of underachievement. We’re satisfied patting ourselves on the back for effort without accomplished results.
We did NOTHIN well today and went into extra innings. I said we had to be around 6 runs per game to keep advancing and our offense has been stuck on 3-4 runs/game for a month now. Seems like we will finish the season underachieving AGAIN. Burroughs continues to prove his resume - win 60% of regular season games and disappear down the stretch. If we expected him to do any different then it was wishful thinking. At least with Goff he had demonstrated success in post season and repeated here. Burroughs who seems to be a stand up guy just may be one of those HCs that never gets over the hump
We play again tomorrow at 9 am against a team we haven’t beaten this year. I like our chances of being home in time for supper.
