I hope we don’t try and go cheap with this project. As others have said, we won’t ever have this opportunity again in our lifetime.

That baseball field was located where the two tall dorms with the rocket were. It is now cleared for student use.
I hope they get with an experienced architecture firm who has designed baseball facilities. Surely, there are a few firms that specialize in that area. If I were the AD, I would visit several facilities that were built in the last 5 years and then ask those Ad's or coaches what they like and dislike about their new facility. There is no reason for us not to get this right...it should be a top notch facility when done, 2nd best in Louisiana.

Using local firm(s) connected to Tech. Doesnt mean that firms elsewhere with specific experience in stadium design is not consulted.

"Hey Jeff - The design is in progress. It will be several months before they release the final design."
I don't get why there's a lack of communication to the alumni base. There's no Bulldog Blitz, no Tech in Town, and he doesn't engage with the fanbase via social media. How does he connect to the fanbase?
